Duties of  Editor :

  1. The ethical principles of the Journal of Science and Technology of Composites are based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
  2.  The editor of the journal is actively trying to improve the quality of the magazine.
  3.  The editor is responsible for deciding on the publication of articles submitted to the journal.
  4.  Reviewing articles in terms of being in sync with the editorial policies of the journal and the compliance with the approved laws is   another task of the editor.
  5.  The editor should review the articles regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious, ethnic, citizenship, or political orientation of the authors.
  6.  The editor and each member of the editorial board shall not disclose any information about the submitted article except to the responsible author, referees, editors, and publisher.
  7.  The referring process in this magazine is the one-way referring so that the referee is unknown to the author, but the referee sees the author(s) name(s).
  8. The editor cannot use any parts of the unpublished submitted articles without the written permission of the author(s).

Duties of Referees:

  1. In reviewing the quality, content, and scientific nature of articles, referees assist the editor of the journal in publishing the paper. the referees communicate with the author through the members of the editorial board to help the author improve and enhance the quality and content of the article.
  2. All information in the articles should be considered confidential by the referees and should not be presented or discussed to anyone other than the authorized persons defined by the editor.
  3. The referring of articles should be based on scientific documents and reasoning, and it should be clearly stated and the referees should avoid of any of articles should be personal ideas or styles.
  4. The referee must draw the editor's attention to any significant similarities or overlaps between the reviewed article and any other published article of which he/she is aware.
  5. Specific information or ideas obtained from the reviewed article should be kept confidential and should not be used for any personal gain.
  6. If referees feel they are non-qualified for reviewing the research work for any reason such as not having sufficient facilities, long referring process or non-related subject to their field of study, the chief editor should be notified by them and they must reject the referring process.
  7. Paying attention to the references and sources used in the article is another duty of the referees. All research, discussions and quotes used in the article should be accompanied by a complete reference in the bibliography.
  8. Referees should not accept the articles in which the interests of specific individuals, institutions and companies are acquired or personal relationships are observed.

Duties of Author(s):

  1. In addition to a detailed report of the work done, the authors of the research papers should provide a good scientific statement of its importance.
  2.  Articles should be detailed enough to allow others to repeat them. False and incorrect statements are immoral and unacceptable.
  3.  Simultaneous submission of an article to several journals or submission of articles published or accepted in other journals is against the law.
  4.  The articles submitted by the authors should be the work of the authors of the article and any use of other people's research should be referenced in the article.
  5.  All those who have made a significant contribution to the work should be named as co-authors or appreciated as collaborators.
  6.  The corresponding author must ensure that the names of all co-authors are included in the article and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the article and agree to submit it to the journal for publication.
  7.  Whenever the authors notice any errors or inaccuracies in their article, they shall inform the editor of the journal or publisher and take action to correct it or retrieve the article.
