  • Submission declaration

Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere including electronically in the same form, in Persian or in any other language, without the written consent of the copyright holder.

All articles published by Journal are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.

  • Subscription

• Articles are made available on-line for everyone to read and download through our access programs http://jstc.iust.ac.ir/

• No publication fee

All articles published in the journal will be of charge for the authors.

  • Language    

Please write your full text in Persian. The full title, abstract and author information should be provided in English.

  • Submission

Submission to this journal proceeds online and you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of your files. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail removing the need for a paper trail.

  • Submit your article

  • Referees

Please submit, with the manuscript, the names, addresses, and e-mail addresses of three potential referees. Note that the editor retains the sole right to decide whether or not the suggested reviewers are used.

  • Changes to authorship

This policy concerns the addition, deletion, or rearrangement of author names in the authorship of accepted manuscripts:

Before the accepted manuscript is published in an online issue: Requests to add or remove an author, or to rearrange the author names, must be sent to the Journal Manager from the corresponding author of the accepted manuscript and must include:

(a) the reason the name should be added or removed or the author names rearranged.

(b) written confirmation (e-mail, fax, letter) from all authors that they agree with the addition, removal or rearrangement.

In the case of addition or removal of authors, this includes confirmation from the author being added or removed. Requests that are not sent by the corresponding author will be forwarded by the Journal Manager to the corresponding author, who must follow the procedure as described above. Note that:

(1) Journal Managers will inform the Journal Editors of any such requests and

(2) publication of the accepted manuscript in an online issue is suspended until authorship has been agreed.

It is noted that, After the accepted manuscript is published in an online issue: Any requests to add, delete, or rearrange author names in an article published in an online issue will not accept.

  • Preparation

Use of word processing software

The file must be saved in the native format of the wordprocessor used. The text should be prepared based on the journal template available in: http://jstc.iust.ac.ir/journal/authors.note

  • Article structure

Title:
The title should be coherent and the number of words not exceed 20 words.


Author information:
The corresponding author should be a member of the known academic institute. The article should be submitted and follow up with an academic mail address.


Abstract:
The abstract should be written both in English and Persian. All articles must have an abstract containing 180 to 250 words.


Keywords:
All articles should have a list of key terms for indexing purposes.


Body text:
All figures and tables should be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsection should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3,…) 1.2, etc. Any subsection may be given a brief heading. The heading should have appeared on its separate line. The text of the article must be written in a coherent style. All symbols used must be clearly defined. The equations must be typed and consecutively numbered. The SI units must be used in the manuscript.

Figures and Tables:
All figures and tables should be numbered in Arabic numerals and must be mentioned in the manuscript. In figures, numbers and captions should be typed below and in tables, those should be placed above. The figures should be clear and the tables should be in three separate lines style.


Acknowledgment:
The acknowledgment should be collected in a separate section at the end of the article before the references.


References :
All articles should have references. The references should be written in Times New Roman font type. The authors are responsible for the authenticity and completeness of all references.

  • Submission checklist

The following list will be useful during the final checking of an article before sending it to the journal for review. Please consult this Guide for Authors for further details of any item.

One author has been designated as the corresponding author with contact details:

• E-mail address

• Full postal address

• Phone numbers

• Manuscript has been prepared based on the journal template

• References are in the correct format for this journal

• All references mentioned in the Reference list are cited in the text, and vice versa
